Eddie Gray

Eddie began his coaching career in 2013 becoming the assistant coach for St. Bonaventure University Coach Larry Sudbrook.  He finished his career with a 15-17 record ( 15 wins is 7th in team history); 289.2 innings (2nd in team history); 211 SO (3rd in team history). Eddie was a 4 year conference starter, Atlantic 10 Rookie of the week (2x). Atlantic 10 Pitcher of the Week(2x). 


Eddie served three years as the varsity baseball coach at Bishop Grimes High School in Syracuse. During that time he coached the team to the sectional semifinals in his final two years. Four of his former players are now playing college baseball. 



Eddie also was a Head Coach and Lead Pitching Instructor for Sports Zone Baseball Academy. With Sports Zone,  he trained pitchers ages 8-18. Eddie also developed and instructed 16 week advanced pitching/conditioning class. This Advanced Pitching  Class was key in having 30+ players continue their baseball careers in college.


 While serving three seasons as the assistant baseball coach at St. Bonaventure Coach Gray helped guide SBU players to team records and conference awards.  He was instrumental in the recruitment and coaching of four players who would be picked in the MLB amateur draft. Coach Gray still is In contact with his former teammates and players from St. Bonaventure.



Eddie is a native of Pulaski , NY and grew up playing baseball in the Pulaski Little League system and Pulaski High School under Coach Butch Taplin. While at Pulaski Eddie was 2x All CNY, 2x All NYS, and 4x All League. 


Eddie and his fiancé Theresa live in Olean, with their two daughters Maddie and Bailey, and two dogs Dice and Jaxx
